Bonacci Architects help ensure mail delivery....
In 2003, Bonacci Architects was awarded a two-year contract with one-year renewal options after that with the U.S. Postal Service for various renovation projects. Some 19 different projects were designed, bid, and constructed under the contract. In 2006, Bonacci Architects was again awarded a second similar contract. To date, we have completed assessments to 15 different facilities for their repair and alteration needs. The postal facilities involved are located from the Albany area to near Rochester and between the northern and southern NYS borders. The type of work varies greatly but mostly making the buildings more energy efficient with upgraded mechanical systems and replacing old window systems with new energy efficient windows and entrances. Other priority needs are making the buildings more accessible for the mobility impaired with improvements to site and building access.
