A Phase II proposal for the 17-story building with 215 units has recently been submitted to the State Housing Finance Agency for approval. The phase also involves major renovations to the apartment units.
The entire project cost is estimated to be $43.8 million including purchase, renovation and soft costs. The 18-month process will result in providing much needed clean, safe, energy efficient and appropriate affordable housing downtown again.
