Kids Oneida Moves Into New Offices
Upon comletion of their renovation of 310 Main Street (former Gaffney Communications Building), Utica, NY, Kids Oneida moved into their new offices. Renovations of the 4-story historic building include a number of improvements that are visible from the exterior. All of the windows have been replaced including the main floor storefront, which was restored to what it may have looked like when the building was built. The former loading dock off of the east side of the building was completely re-built to become the main entrance for the building with an ADA ramp directly adjacent to the parking lot. The re-built dock will also provide a much needed exterior terrace for staff. The first and second floors werre completely renovated to house Kids Oneida's administrative offices. A large training room and two additional conference rooms are located on the first floor. Many of the existing hardwood floors were left exposed and refinished to preserve some of the original flavor of the building. A new elevator was installed for improved and safer access to each floor. The third floor is currently vacant, but will provide ample expansion space for the organization.
