Oneida County to relocate Social Services in Rome
Oneida County Department of Social Services and related agencies will be relocating their Rome, New York offices. Bonacci Architects has started preparing documentation on the existing building at 300 W. Dominick Street, Rome, NY and meeting with Oneida County Engineering and Dept. of Social Services management to determine the scope of work for the 32,000 SF building. The renovation work for the first floor offices will include a change of occupancy from the current building use (formerly Phillipson's Army & Navy Store). The scope of work will include general construction, plumbing, HVAC and electrical changes. The County believes the consolidation of presently dispersed offices will greatly improve service to its customers and improve efficiency.
