"Green Building" Recognition
Bonacci Architects pllc was recognized for their "Green Building" design efforts in the February/March 2010 edition of CNY Business Exchange publication. Bonacci Architects provided architectural design for the new SRC corporate headquarters (120,000gsf) located in North Syracuse. The new building received LEED Silver Certification by the US Green Building Council. SRC decided to pursue LEED certification to further demonstrate their dedication to improving the quality of life, advancement of environmental conscientiousness and being a model for the community at large. Bonacci Architects would like to recognize other key participants in the design and construction of the project: RobsonWoese, Inc. for mechanical/plumbing, electrical and fire protection engineerings; Klepper, Hahn & Hyatt, PC provided landscape architecture and structural design; and the Hayner Hoyt Corporation served as construction manager.
