Serving a Second Term...
David J. Bonacci, AIA, Principal of Bonacci Architects pllc, has accepted a second term as Chairperson of the City of Utica Scenic and Historic Commission. The commission is responsible for review and approval of proposed exterior building and site renovations as they relate to architectural and historical integrity in designated areas of the City. The commission meets monthly to review appropriateness of applications. Buildings in the designated areas cannot receive a building permit for exterior work without first receiving a "Certificate of Appropriateness" from the Scenic & Historic Commission.
